They say that ignorance is bliss… well.. truth is.. by being ignorant, you are actually sabotaging yourself to success. But then again… it also depends on how you see things… because being ignorant to what others say until proven others, is also being the best judge for yourself.

We all, as humans fall into this trap of presupposition… and the more “untrained” you are to see this, the more dangerous it is…

You see, we all have this wall around us that deceive the things we want to see. We think we know, but the fact is that we don’t… and because that presupposition is deeply engraved into our belief system.. sometimes, it is sabotaging your business from greater success.

Here is an interesting plucked I pick from my blog:

Presupposition  – All arabs are terrorist (Not True and Totally Absurd)…

So… when you have that belief system built in you, anything else doesn’t matter…

An Arab guy came running to you and shouting in a language you don’t know…

and because you had this pre-assumption built in, you start to have your guard up and shouted back at him…

because of the language barrier and you not responding, he grabs you by the collar and shouted even louder… and.. at this point of time… you, out of anger and fear, hit him and beat him up…

Unknown to you, he is actually telling you that his wife is about to give birth and is in labor pain just a street away… and he is seeking for help…

Unknown to you, he is actually an oil tycoon, with over 5 billion in net worth…

and… you beat him up…

Pretty sad… but… you just lost 5 million dollars worth of thank you gifts… and a chance to be the god-father of a billionaire heir…

Well.. its a funny story but it clearly shows how presupposition can be dangerous when it comes to decision making… so.. when it comes to your business, it is very important… that you ask.

Ask what is it that your market want… ask what is your markets deepest concern, problem, ask what can you do to make their experience better, ask if your product is working for them and if they are happy about it…

For if you presuppose everything else… you will never uncover the hidden gold in your business…

In my previous post, I have talked about how you can become a copywriting expert quickly, and that is to know who are you selling to.

Now, this breaks down to different psychographic as well, such as gender, status etc.

Remember the key point… you can’t sell to anyone… and a great sales letter certainly focuses on a single direction.

Lets take for example, you have a weight loss product… the question to ask is… is your target market appealing to the female or the male market.

Understand that female audience are emotional buyers while male audience are ego and “judgmental” based.

In other words, if you are selling to a female audience, you need to seduce, tease and build rapport throughout your copy… so that it feels like as if your audience knew and trust you. Pictures you use plays a part… and it definitely helps appeal and connect them to the copy.

If you are selling to a male audience, then a strong “reasoning” is needed as male audience always needs one damn reason for their buying. Not logical ones… but something to convince their other “half”.

Lets take for example… why do you think mercedes are meant for the rich ? Well… the reasoning can be stupid… like the engine is better… or they are made from better quality steel plates… or the leather just smells better and I am allergic to cushion seats…

Come on… lets be honest… the main reason for a car is for transport, nothing else. But each of this single reasoning can help convince a guy to go ahead with the decision to buy… like I’ve mentioned… its not logical.. but.. they need a justification in order to open up their wallets.

So… gender matters in how you appeal to your audience… understand your market well… especially who you are targeting.. and you can easily write a high converting sales copy.

Let me get something off my chest, you’ve been CHEATED !

Well, at least by yourself or rather, our basic human instinct and behavior towards instant gratification.

Who are your customers ?

What have you in store for them ?

What happens next after they become your customer ?

How can you scale your business and maximize your profits ?

How about JVs, and taking your business offline ?

Do you have any exit strategy in place ?

When you treat your online venture as a business, only then will you be able to start generating truck loads of money from the Internet.

So.. what happens next ?

Once you have everything strategically planned out, you can then work on your online business towards its desired goal and end point. You can either outsource it, or do it yourself… its totally up to you.

After everything in your business has been in place, only then do you take the entire blueprint and start another new online business, duplicating the various steps in sequence.

Don’t be a victim of your own dream… don’t be a victim of your own Internet Marketing scam…

To have multi platform for lead generation is one of the most powerful traffic generation secrets you can have in both online and offline world… so… think of what sort of web page / contact mediums you have in your business that you have and integrate marketing into them… remember… you are after all, paying for them… so.. make full use of it…

How do you become a copywriting expert without spending a lot of time studying the psychology and skill sets of a copywriter ?

Copywriting is one of the most sought after skills – They call in salesmanship in print.

As far as I am concern, to be a successful marketer, you have to learn copywriting. It is a MUST… and you can hear all the debates about which is the one skill to learn…

Now, you don’t really need to be a good copywriter… but it is still a skill to learn… at least fundamentally.

Emails, Sales letter, Articles and even JV proposals.. if you know copy… you can basically have everything in the world.

Once you understand the mindset of your potential customer, then only will you be able to craft a letter that appeals to them.. and even if it is not a grade A salesletter… you will still be able to sell your products to them.

Getting and generating traffic is easy once you know the basics behind it.

The no.1 answer that you should always ask yourself is this – Who are you selling to ?

Alot of people flunk when it comes to understand this point and just go about doing what they heard about traffic generation. Seriously, While you may be getting traffic here and there, it ain’t going to be high quality if you do not know who your customer is.

Imagine yourself selling laptops and the latest computer gadgets.

Where do you think will give you the maximum number of high quality traffic and customers – A 2 day convention at an IT fair, and a 6 month rented store at the fish market, considering that both of them cost the same amount of “rental” fee…

The answer is quite obvious.

Alot of people blew this part simply because they are casting their net too wide and not understanding who they are selling to. While the market place do get them some sales… along the 6 month… the IT convention will just blow their sales sky high.

So.. here is what you should always consider, know who you are selling to… understand their psychographic patterns and where they hang out and position yourself in front of them. – Nothing else.

If you are looking to generate traffic for your website, don’t do things for the sake of doing… it is always the “afterthought” that separates a successful marketer and a unsuccessful one.

and yes, there are some real gurus out there that sell genuine and valuable information and I respect them for that.

So… if you are reading this, then there are a couple of things you would want to take note of as of today…

1) Zoom in on a mentor

2) Get under his coaching

3) Unsubscribe from all the other mailing list you got about making money online

4) If you are at a seminar, just approach the guru that you feel more credible and get his program. Leave the seminar and just work on the program that he is offering.

This will help you cut down a lot of Internet noise and get things done the right way.. so much so much faster.

and believe me when I said that you’ll see results of you making money online in the next 60 days… provided you take action !
