Marketing is about getting leads for your business, and traffic generation is just the way it is, getting people to see what you have to offer.
While the platforms are many, you should always integrate every single ounce of your mediums, as your sales or marketing platform. In other words, your blog post, your articles, your website, your emails… and if you bring it offline, your name cards, your catalogs, your gifts to your customers etc.
Note that every single thing or money you’ve spend for your business, is suppose to be a process of getting back the ROI, from then, you can start tweaking and improving them.
Let’s take for example a Thank you page… what can you do to introduce more profits to it ?
Upsells, cross sells, Free seminar registration… yes, since your customers are already there and have nothing else to do, why not give this chance for them to see more of what you have to offer, and from there, get more back end sales ?
After all, they are at the “hype” of getting started… and conversion is generally higher…
Of course, that does not mean that you should sell them crap and rubbish that does not help your customers… doing so will eventually hurt your sales in the long run. But if you can give them something of value by which can help them get more than what they bargain for… don’t you think it’ll increase your value and recommendations in the future ?
Now… lets go offline… what about name cards ? Is it really just a name or contact card or is it like a “lead generation” medium where you prompt offer some sort of a lead magnet or reason for them to call or visit your website so that you can further offer them your service/products ?
To have multi platform for lead generation is one of the most powerful traffic generation secrets you can have in both online and offline world… so… think of what sort of web page / contact mediums you have in your business that you have and integrate marketing into them… remember… you are after all, paying for them… so.. make full use of it…
